Now that the DWPP Over.. How did it go?

SPLENDIDLY!

We can't thank all the attendees enough.   Matter of fact, we're officially changing the name from attendess to Friendees, because that's what you are!!  You made this weekend a very special weekend, that I'll never forget.  Almost as special as winning the TF2 2v2 with my pal Moot!  Classic.

Also, I can't forget to thank all the sponsors.  They really outdid themselves with the amount of swag and prizes that were given to give out to the friendees.  Seriously.  We had to make up some new games to give away some of the stuff.  Vintage!

Look out next year, when we take DC by storm!  That's right.  We will be heading to the capital and really take politicon to the next level! 

We'll see if we can get links to all the pics and videos to add to this site, and continue to do that each year so we have a dedicated area to keep track of the DWPP in the future.  So, keep this site handy.  http://dwpp.deadworkers.com.   We'll get a form set up soon for you to sign up and get notified when there is something new!

Just over a week away!

Who's ready for the DWPP?! I know i'm super excited. Be sure to check out the sponsors page and take a look at what they have to offer.


Also, we have just recieved word that the Makers Local 256 will be in attendence and be running a minecraft tournament for us! THANK YOU! That will be a ton of fun.


I'm so excited, I just wanted to post SOMETHING!! So check out the schedule. It may change a bit. Most of Sunday will be for people who stay the full weekend, and won't be a super amount of planning on that day, but there will be gaming going on most of the day, till we need to clean up the space.

Venue has been booked! Now for sponsors!

We've booked the venue, which will be the same place we had last year, just not so cold!   It is the Lowe Mill Entertainment, and just a few  miles from the hotel, which we will be working to arrange rides back and forth at certain times.


It is also right next to our studio, so we'll be able to take tours of the podcast room and let people see where the magic happens!

Another downtown Hotel

We heard that the first hotel is running low on rooms, so the next closest hotel would be the Springhill marriot. There isn't any sort of special at the moment, but don't be afraid to ask for the DWPP block of rooms.

Be sure to try the Holiday Inn FIRST, on t he hotels page.  They may have some booking open up.

We have had success in the past with the Holiday Inn downtown, which is about a 5 min drive from the Lowe Mill where we will be having the party.

They are getting booked pretty fast for that weekend, so I urge you to make reservations ASAP. If they fill up, we will find another place to stay close by.

In the past, we've charged admission for the CPCON's to be able to put together schwag bags and pay for the venue.

This year, we are doing it for FREE. There might not be schwag bags, but there will be a venue with good Interwebs and lots of fun to be had!

We want everyone to concentrate on having fun! So spend the money on your room.. flights... gas... food.. and come join us at the DWPP this year!
